I'm thrilled with this bench so far. I love that it came fully assembled, but it was small enough to fit in the trunk of a car to travel to its ultimate destination. I don't have a bathtub, and this was a great solution to make shaving my legs, soaking my feet, and just relaxing in the shower easier. I purchased it in conjunction with a hand-held shower head to really up the spa factor.One thing that made me select this bench over others is the adjustable feet. My shower has a tile floor that slants toward the middle, so with a few turns of the feet at the base, I was able to keep it from wobbling. I like the shelf at the bottom too--what girl doesn't need more space for products in the bath?!This style would go with any decor (my bathroom has a Japanese theme), and the rich brown color is true to the photo. My water is fairly harsh, so I imagine it will weather a bit as the manufacturer says it will. I like the current hue, so I'll probably re-stain it if it does fade (they make recommendations for maintenance products).I could see the slatted top being a bit uncomfortable on the bottom for some folks, but you could simply put a towel or wash cloth there for extra padding as needed. It would be just like sitting in a sauna.
