I'm really pleased with this shelving unit. I have a coat closet which is on an outside wall, so coats hung in it get very cold in the winter. Putting on an ice cold coat before going outside is torture. I switched this closet with another and made the chilly one into a pantry. I bought a 24" wide 5 tier unit a couple of years ago, and now I wanted to use the remaining space but could not fit a duplicate unit in. I was very glad to find this smaller unit, and the price was half of the other larger one. Assembly is very easy. When I put the black clamps around the poles I was worried that they didn't meet... then when I banged the basket down on it I realized that they were made to fit that way and hold the basket in place. A couple of easy taps with my "junior miss" hammer, and it was complete. It fits beautifully in the space and provides great organizational order. I couldn't be happier!Got a used one for $40-ish from Amazon warehouse deals to replace an old flimsy plastic shelving unit next to my washer/dryer. Best features of this shelf are the adjustable feet since it's placed near the sloping floor drain in my laundry closet - finally no more wobbles! It's also easy to assemble w/o tools and is lightweight. I use mine for laundry and cleaning products which are a jumble of half-empty containers that tend to tip over. I like the basket-shelf design for keeping bottles and boxed items from falling off the shelf. The material is more rigid than flexible plastic, but it's not made of stainless steel like heavier and more expensive models. There's one shelf liner included for the top shelf, I do wish there was one for each basket, but I'm sure there's a DIY solution for that on Pinterest. This shelf is sturdy and fits perfectly in a weird nook of my kitchen. I like that they're baskets, not shelves (so that things like spice jars won't fall if you accidentally hit the shelf). As I was putting it together, I was convinced it wouldn't stay put because the "clips" that you use to attach the shelves didn't fully attach to each other (????), but they stay perfectly well once the baskets are shoved onto them. Seems like it shouldn't hold but it does. And for some reason, my package came with 18 loose black caps that are completely unrelated to this product. When I opened the box, they fell all over. Not sure why someone tossed those in with it, but whatever. Overall, a decent and sturdy shelf that greatly improves my storage abilities.I appreciate this shelving. It’s simple, does what it needs to do, and fits in the small space I wanted to take advantage of. It being wire is great because it’s easy to just buy hooks to store more things off the side if there’s a little extra space next to it. I wish there were liners for all of the shelves, but that’s an easy enough fix. I like the feet to help prevent wobbling. Beware that if you move the piece, the feet heights may change. I would not adjust until it’s in the final place you decide.People have been saying they don’t like the finish or that it’s not chrome, it says silver in the title and description.I live in a house without a lot of storage space which has lead to me buying a LOT of cheap metal and plastic shelving from Amazon. I own six Amazon Basics metal shelving units of various sizes. I bought two of these on a whim because they were smaller and they are awesome. Much more sturdy and easy to assemble. They are more expensive than the amazon basics ones which might be an issue, but they are definitely a higher quality. I plan on purchasing two more for my house. I hvae one in each bathroom holding cosmetic products and want one for my kitchen and one for my office.Did the job. Needed wire shelving for a tighter space in my kitchen. Assembly is easy after you understand how to apply the first basket which took me about 15 mins to understand. Tip: make sure you measure the tallest item in your pantry and place the shelving accordingly. I needed more space at the bottom for my mixer so I didn’t follow the instructions on placement. You can honestly adjust them however you would like. It’s a little wobbly but nothing crazy at all. Once it’s in place it not noticeable. Every shelf seems sturdy. I’m not afraid of anything falling. So far I like itBought for a narrow unused corner of in my room; works perfectly with the Oajen 2" caster with 1/4" - 20 x 1", pack of 4 for the feet for mobility and ease of cleaning. Buy some metal hooks at your local 99cent store for hanging odds and ends. Might modify some curtain panels to protect my linens from dust, easy enough to do with these shelves.Bought this product to use in laundry room and totally surprised with how great the quality and sturdiness of this product is. The assemble instructions are easy to follow and the dimensions on the site is in line with what you receive when you buy the product. are in Would but again and recommend if you are not looking for permanent shelving in laundry room, bathroom, pantry or even garage.
