I just love this storage unit. Its design solves the forever problem of things hiding behind other things!Everything is visible and easy to grab. I put it on top of another cabinet so I wouldn't have to bend down low to put things away or take things out.I bought the RED one and it looks great. It's a dark red, not as bright a red as the photo shows.If I had a bigger kitchen I would purchase another one of these!I'm giving it four stars because the dimensions weren't correct. Is cabinet was actually taller than what was listed. By a couple inches which made it difficult for what I needed for. I had to trim the base down to make it fit. It's a fairly sturdy cabinet. Works well for what I need it for and assembly was fairly easy. Overall, it could have been five stars and it probably should be three stars considering I had to trim the cabinet down and making shorter. But I'm meeting in the middle at 4 starsI am satisfied with the product. For others considering purchasing this item and reading all of the reviews, my advice is to consider your expectations. While assembly was in fact a pain in the butt, it is to be expected with most pieces of furniture that come not assembled that it will be a process. I think that's due mostly to shipping. It would be impossible to ship with larger pieces and not expect damage to the product upon arrival. For assembly, it uses cam lock hardware. We have already assembled a couple pieces of furniture using this hardware. If you are familiar with Cam locks, it will be much easier to start the process. If you're not familiar, while awaiting delivery of this item, I would advise you to Google and become more familiar with Cam locks. The biggest pain was the smaller screws included to attach the back and the hinges simply because they were so small and my fingers couldn't grip them well. They advise using a handheld screwdriver, but I would recommend using an electric screwdriver. Definitely made the process faster. We assembled in about 2 hours. The shelves on the doors are a bit smaller than I had hoped but I've made it work. Overall, it depends what purpose you're purchasing this for. If you have very specific needs, where this product would be useless to you if specific things don't fit on the shelves the way you intend, possibly consider not purchasing. Seems quite sturdy.My family owns a small cabin in the mountains that was built in the 1940's. Charm it has. Storage space it does not. Finding creative storage solutions has become an obsession -- and this little pantry is PERFECT for small spaces. It fits beautifully in this tiny niche but has PLENTY of storage space for all our pantry items. I can't speak to assembly -- a friend assembled it for me -- but it's sturdy and looks terrific. A great buy!I like this cabinet. It was easy to assemble, but very time consuming. It took me several hours to assemble it by myself. It is smaller than expected and there isn’t a ton of space on each shelf, but I still like it. It would be best for things like spices, bagged nuts or baking chips, canned goods, etc.Instructions impossible to follow. Makes no sense at all. Particle board is wobbly at the top. Had to drill in brackets to keep the shelves in place. Was necessary to hire a professional wood worker to complete the installation. My fear is that these shelves will not hold the weight of ordinary plates, bowls, cups, saucers etc. These pantry cabinets are quite lovely to look at but the material is inferior. I’m so disappointed in my purchase.This cabinet wasn’t as tall as I hoped for but it serves it’s purpose. I store some of my food items in it & use the top for my little coffee bar. Overall, it works!This item came in with scratches on the wood. The outside packaging was torn up. It took myself and another person 3+ hours to put together. For the price, I expected pieces to be in better shape.A cute little pantry.. worth the money, looks great.Assembly is a serious pain.. recommend having an electric screwdriver to save your thumb and wrist.. tons of screws to be put.Could have done better with a stronger magnetic catch. The door panels get heavy after loading items on them, and then the magnetic catch tends to give way rather easily. We fixed a child-lock on the door, and that really helps to supplant the not-so-strong magnetic door catch.Not a good choice. Regret buying this as its not sturdy enough and is a cheap replacement for a cabinet.Directions lacked clarity but it went together pretty easily. It fits perfectly in the space we had and we desperately needed the extra food storage.We live in small mobile home wherestorage is at a minimum.
