Although the hang tag on this basket indicate an 8" depth, it is only 7-5/8" across the top opening and slightly smaller at the bottom. Amazon site also states 8". This is a nice, sturdy storage basket. I'm disappointed that my items won't fit.We have a little Pomeranian, and she likes to chase balls outside in the yard. I bought this to store her "outdoor" toys. I keep it on our deck, and when we bring her in, we drop whatever toy she was playing with into this little basket. No more losing her toys out in the yard!!This is my third time purchasing BINO bins. BINO might be on the pricey side, but the bins are thick and sturdy and really hold up with heavy contents. My first purchase was nearly ten years ago and those bins are still bright white and not at all worn, cracked, or brittle.Just a note of caution that the image depicting product dimensions is bit deceiving. The image makes it appear that both depth and width measure the same at the top and bottom; however, there is roughly an inch difference. I purchased the large, which is @ 13 x 10.5 (12 7/8 x 10 5/8) at the bottom, not 14 x 11.5 as depicted in the image. This probably won't matter to most, but I needed a bin with sides that didn't slant out at the top quite so much for a specific project.The bin arrived in good shape and does seem fairly sturdy for light use.Storing things around the hose that get misplaced. A great organizerBino woven basket fit the space in my nightstand perfectly! It stored my items neatly and gave the space a clean, well kept look!This was for a gift basket for a crafter I know. It's really well made for the price. I added shred to it and the gift items and it's perfect. Order arrived promptly and well packaged.The edges are sharp where you grip it so use for storage.
